WHY CHOOSE PHYSIOTHERAPIST
LED PILATES?
At More Core Pilates, classes are delivered by an experienced Physiotherapist, who has undertaken training with the APPI (Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute). This means that you get the wealth of knowledge and experience that comes with a Physiotherapist, whilst you improve your core strength, control and flexibility.
Pilates guided by a Physiotherapist means that you may be able to take part whilst recovering from an injury or surgery, and the classes can compliment your rehabilitation. This is because the exercises can be modified for you, to avoid aggravation of your symptoms. For this reason the classes can also help to manage persistent joint or spinal pain.
Pilates is also the perfect exercise class for injury prevention, as the exercises help you to heighten the awareness of your own body and how it moves. Classes are well suited for postnatal mothers, preparing to get back into their usual activities or exercise routine.
We keep class sizes small enough to allow plenty of support where needed (a maximum of 10 in a class), but you’ll also have the motivational benefits of group exercise. The classes are suitable for all abilities, as exercises can be tailored to your individual needs.
